Title Supersonic Condensation and Separation Characteristics of CO2-Rich Natural Gas under Different Pressures

Supersonic separation technology is a new natural gas sweetening method for the treatment of with high CO2 (carbon dioxide) content. The structures Laval nozzle and supersonic separator were designed, mathematical models condensation swirling CO2-CH4 mixture established. characteristics in condensed droplets under different inlet pressures studied. results show that higher pressure larger droplet radius liquid phase mass fraction; additionally, influence centrifugal force more pronounced, efficiency removal are higher. When 6 9 MPa, liquefaction at outlet increases from 56.90% to 79.97%, 0.39 0.72 μm, 31.25% 54.52%, respectively. effects on complicated controlled by combined capacity swirl vane.
